The Thiersee Co-Creation Project was my master’s thesis in Graphic Design, focusing on how local collaboration can shape an authentic visual identity for a small community. Rather than creating a design from an outside perspective, the process centered on the voices, values, and stories of the local residents.
The project was inspired by the idea of co-creation as a method to build genuine visual narratives rooted in place and identity. Through workshops, interviews and creative exchanges, the aim was to capture what truly defines Thiersee and translate it into a cohesive design concept. The outcome is a visual identity that feels authentic, grounded and shaped by the community itself.
